Menopause Period

What is Menopause?

Menopause is the biological stage that we can summarize in the age range of 45- 55 years in women as December menstrual cycle slows down and eventually stops completely due to a decrease in the hormone estrogen. Unfortunately, the condition that we call aging gains momentum with the menopause period in women. Menopause is a transitional period in which significant changes occur in the female body, and the skin is extremely affected by these changes. Drying and thinning of hair, Decaying of nails, thinning of the skin and tissue loss are among the symptoms of menopause.

How Does the Skin Change During Menopause?

The female hormone is also known as the beauty hormone. There are scientific data that support that there is a direct proportion between the amount of estrogen and Dec.

Due to the decrease in ovulation with menopause, the production of estrogen decreases, which leads to the appearance of losses associated with beauty. Because the beauty of the skin, hair, nails depends on the working capacity and quality of the estrogen receptors.

Menopause causes significant changes in the skin, as collagen production will slow down due to estrogen deficiency:

  • The skin loses its radiance due to estrogen deficiency
  • During menopause, the skin tends to dry out
  • Menopause can cause enlargement of the pores.
  • Due to the lack of collagen, the skin begins to sag, the formation of wrinkles and spots

Application of Fractional CO2 Lasers;

Compared to other lasers, they can penetrate deeper into the skin and be more effective in eliminating wrinkles, especially with deep acne and scars.

When applied to the problem skin area, laser beams stimulate the lower layers of the skin, stimulating the synthesis of collagen. Collagen, which is also synthesized by heat from the laser, contributes to the development of a younger, smoother, more vibrant skin. No matter how much the outer layers of the skin look aged, Fractional CO2 treatments always reduce the effects of aging and stimulate loosened areas on the skin, allowing relaxation to be alleviated.
